Manually Paying Suppliers


This article will guide you through recording payments to supplier invoices manually. 


A few things to note:


- If you reconcile using a bank import or bank feeds then you will need to select the payment you are creating manually instead of 'New Payment' when you select the invoice to link it to with the blue button.

- If your supplier has been set up to receive remittances and has an email address recorded on Resident then this will automatically send out a remittance upon recording the payment.


To manually pay a supplier invoice we can use one of two locations depending on what we want to achieve. If we want to reconcile many invoices over a few different blocks then we will need to open 'Branch Finance' > Supplier Invoices'. This will allow us to see all invoices across all blocks.


For reconciling only on one block then we must open our block and navigate to 'Block' > 'Maintenance' > 'Supplier Invoices'. Invoices on this page will only be from the current block.



Other than the content of these pages the layout and functions are the same. 


On these pages we simply need to click the money icon to record a manual payment. 

A pop-up window will appear and we can fill this out with any details needed. Once filled out we can simply click 'Create' and this will mark the invoice/demand as paid. The invoice will now move from the 'Outstanding/Pending' to the 'Paid' tab
