Financial period allows you to set up a timeframe for your budgets and invoice groups. It is essential for most of the reporting functions. Every new budget will use dates from the financial period for your default demand dates. You can, of course, edit those dates when setting up the budget.
You can create or edit a financial period, after accessing a block of your choice, in Block Accounts/Financial Periods
To add a new financial period simply click on 'Add New Financial Period' button.
Remark:
- Please be aware you cannot have overlapping financial periods.
