This article helps you to transfer demands between ownerships.

Please note:

To change an owner of an demand there need to be at least two ownerships with at least one active owner each. Details on setting up new Ownership can be found here.

A demand cannot change owners if there is a payment or credit assigned to the demand. This MUST be removed completely first otherwise you will not be able to change the ownership.

Moving an demand from one owner to another is quite straightforward. It can be done after accessing demand 'Details' tab once the demand is open as shown below. If the name is grey and you cannot change it over then this means there is a payment/credit on the demand which needs to be removed first.

Splitting a demand between ownerships requires a bit more work. The example below shows an original demand being moved to a new owner and a supplementary demand being raised on the old one. It also works the other way around.

The original demand needs to be assigned to the new owner and a credit for the amount paid by the original owner added. On the Statement tab select ‘More Actions’ then ‘Add Credit Note’.

Now after accessing the demand using the 'View' button in the 'Actions' column the previously created Credit Note can be allocated to it.

The last step is adding a supplementary demand to the previous owner’s account for the same amount as the Credit Note raised on the new owner.
